Absolutely not. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t done any exercise regularly for a long time, or ever, as you will have an initial assessment and discussion with the personal trainer to establish your current activity level. Your fitness programme will then be tailored to your current fitness level and what you as an individual want to achieve.

Yes, as long as you have enough space indoors or outside in a garden area, we can provide personal training sessions in the comfort of your own home. No. Anyone can benefit from sports massage therapy even if you are not a sports performer. Many of the benefits of sports massage therapy help to relieve musculoskeletal problems experienced as a result of everyday stresses and strains. These benefits include improved circulation and lymphatic flow, decreased muscle tension and removal of waste products in soft tissue, increased joint range of motion (ROM) and increased sense of well-being.

Sports massage treatments are designed to target areas that are often deep within the tissue, therefore at times during treatment it may feel uncomfortable, in order to alleviate the underlying cause of any problems identified. However, each treatment is tailored to individual preferences, so if you require a lighter massage technique than you can discuss this with your therapist prior to treatment, who will adjust massage techniques accordingly.
